Coming April 2010...

Building on the considerable foundation of Devicelink, particularly the supplier’s directories, Qmed will launch in April 2010, as the premier online service connecting qualified suppliers with medical device manufacturers globally.

Using best practices in SEO, taxonomy, and reporting, we look forward to delivering on a product that has been requested by medical device OEMs. Beginning in March 2010, Devicelink traffic will permanently redirect to Qmed, meaning that we will keep the traffic foundation and grow it.

Unlike more-general industrial markets, the ability to connect with suppliers that have industry-specific qualifications (I. cGMP Compliant; II. FDA Registered, ISO 13485, ISO 9000/01 Certified; III. Exhibitor at 2 recent MD&M/MEDTEC Events) in the medical space is seen as key by the OEM. As qualified suppliers, you will have the ability to display all of your assets, white papers, Webcasts, video etc. in an environment that allows manufacturers to conduct product comparisons and enter into a RFQ with you all from one platform.
